‘More To Explore’ Receives Mercury Award
In 1985 the US Travel Association created The Mercury Awards to recognize members for excellence and creative accomplishment in state/territory tourism marketing and promotion, and inspire the continued development of imaginative and exciting marketing and promotion programs. Explore Minnesota Tourism received the 2011 Mercury Award in Broadcast Television Advertising for its “More to Explore” television ad, making it the best state tourism television ad in the nation. The ad was created by Minneapolis-based agency Colle+McVoy with production company Fiend Content Inc. and post-production services by Splice.
